Alltek recently welcomed a new intern, Brandon Smith, to our growing team of professionals. Brandon is currently a student at the University of South Florida majoring in Information Science with a focus on Information Security. He currently holds the CompTIA Security+ certification – making him the perfect hire for helping our clients stay safe against the sophisticated world of cybercrime.
From a young age, he loved being on the computer and experimenting with information systems – a trait we love seeing in new hires because it shows the kind of passion we want our staff to have when working with our clients. He chose a career in the realm of information technology because his dad told him “if you love your job, you will never work a day in your life” and with that in mind, it seemed like the right fit.
While he plans to finish his undergraduate degree and begin his master’s degree in the next few years, he’ll continue to work alongside our team to obtain more certifications, grow his knowledge base, and overall, help us better serve our clients. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games or basketball. Fun fact: he’s also a proud father to two cats named Tigger and Toby!
